Cost of ES option

Please answer. i look at option chain of ES and there are prices like 3.00 or 10.00 or 1.75. how much is it in $ if i buy 1 option?

multiply by 100... thats it.. contract size.. called the multiplier

ES options are multiplied by 50. A 1.00 option is worth 50 dollars.

true sorry my bad.. ... so its 50 times the price displayed..

If you are looking at option trader in ib tws double click on any strike in the middle of the screen and you will get a box that gives you all the data for the contract including the multiplier.
