Most non-sensical thread ever. Hillary had the Billion $$$ (literally) banking and corporate donor war chest - not Trump.

Order has been restored to the legislative process.

Looks like the left will have to advance their agenda the good old fashioned American way - by winning elections and passing legislation in harmony with the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

Don’t like the Constitution? Think it’s outdated? Fine - there’s a remedy for that. Invoke Article 5 with your duly elected legislative majority. In fact, pass a Constitutional Amendment making access to abortion clinics a Constitutional Right. Pass a Constitutional Amendment nullifying the 2nd Amendment. Pass a Constitutional Amendment legalizing all drugs for recreational use. Do that and there’s nothing any Court in the land can do about it. Nothing.

For too long the left has been guiling and treacherous and relied upon activist judges to cheat the voice of the citizens and sidestep the legislative process in order to create mandates and legal precedents unilaterally out of whole cloth.

Judges are not elected legislators. Judges cannot create law.

But judges can make corporations people apparently.

The right often argues about activism on the left but it’s the right wing judges that often restrict individual freedom and disenfranchise people with their politically biased rulings.

This is the road to Iran. Far right ideology puts power in the hands of the few and makes it possible for the monied interests to rule the majority. Our elections will turn into shams with another conservative on the court. The billionaires and the corporations will run amuck over our rights and protections.

People are so worried about Roe but the real danger is environmental and occupational health and safety with right wing judges. Then will come restrictive voting rulings.

Slowly but surely the power will shift from the many to the few and this country will be like Iran. The powerful will pay off the religious zealots and we all get screwed.

Let me add, you will see the same feeding frenzy at the court that you saw in Congress. The first to get paid off will be the wealthy, just like that tax bill paid off the wealthy and left us, the American people with a massive amount of needless debt.
