As you can see, 1.79% of 65 to 74 year old ppl died in 2017. 4.47% 75 to 84 year olds. and whooping 13.57% when they are over 85.

Leading causes of those deaths are complications from heart desease, cancer and respiratory illness.

What they are doing now is they separated a strain or new strain of a respiratory virus and bombarding fear to manipulate peoples behaviour. This is pure stock market manipulation and political manipulation. You may ask why the government are doing all this crazy measures if its not that bad...well its to protect their ass. Once you convince the mass of something and if media bombards you makes you focus on very very very small % that are dying (would have probably died anyways even without the corona) the mass will act in a tribal manner. Those in charge who don't do anything will get full blame. Some will get blame (like trump) regardless of what happens. So all these lock downs and bans are just ripple effect. Same thing with sports. An idiot basketball player from Utah joked around and ended up being positive and nba shut down. Every other league shut down because they don't want their brand tarnished if someone accidentally died during the season. Big over reaction. China is loving it. Long term this is great for chinese economy in terms of manufacturing, production and trade. Don't be fooled by their economy looking bad now, they will recover much faster while the rest of the world is in recession.

Hospitals are getting crowded because too many people are panicking and going with regular flu/cold. They get panic attack and think corona is causing them difficulty to breathe. There is also placebo effect, once you believe that you are going to sick, your body can mimick those symptoms based on whats planted in your mind via alll the crazyness you watched. You immune system will get weaker under stress. At the end of the day all this nonsense makes it worlse for those vulnerable people who are already in hospital because they get exposed even more.

Just chill, avoid urge to buy stocks and start buying in late april/may when the earning reports are all released.

Because you don't read news and can't do math:

"Flu season is hitting its stride right now in the US. So far, the CDC has estimated (based on weekly influenza surveillance data) that at least 12,000 people have died from influenza between Oct. 1, 2019 through Feb. 1, 2020, and the number of deaths may be as high as 30,000. "

So AT LEAST 12K people dying in 4 months aka 120 days is exactly 100 dead per day during the flu season. But this is the very minimum and could be as high as 250.

Stay at home except for food (only a few allowed inside and limits on quantity to prevent panic buying so a queue) and pharmacy has been in effect since last week and will continue until the April 13th. Only one person per family allowed shop, nobody over 70 (store will shop for them if nobody to assist).

There is an online form to get permission to move for special reasons etc.

This is Colomba, the US is doing too little too late.

Friend it is a terrible crisis, in Latin America many countries do not have how to handle this virus, hospitals do not have the necessary resources, I clarify that I am currently talking about Colombia, students from public universities make respirators and also antibacterial gel.

Yes it is very true that Covid-19 is very bad as it have disturbed the whole interational and national markets also. This has been such a period where all stocks are down and traders are facing loss.
