A study of 18 ventilated patients in Washington state found that nine were still alive when the study ended, but only six had recovered enough to breathe on their own.

A study of Wuhan, China, was even grimmer. Only 3 of 22 ventilated patients survived.

I have always wondered about the effectiveness of ventilators. 3 out of 22 is pathetic. Maybe if we do away with ventilators, more ppl will survive? I can’t imagine how one can clear the phlegm in the lungs with ventilators on. I think if it was me, I will opt out of ventilators. With ventilators, we are not controlling the breathing and that is scary as hell.

Alright since this is on the global scale let's find some ways to stop this:

1. No biological, nuclear, or dangerous materials research by China. No businesses allowed to exist that produce research or experiments on dangerous diseases.
2. China must report all cases of any disease to the UN who will distribute it to member countries to prevent the WHO from being involved again.
3. Sanctions for decades on Chinese products to get the trillions in dollars lost back caused by them. Perhaps 1 billion per life lost in the period between Nov 19 and Jan 21 2020.

This is roughly equivalent to how we handle violent criminals. We:

1. Prevent them from owning or building weapons
2. Force them to register with states
3. Charge them civil as well as criminal penalties.

we even prevent them from getting some jobs. So let's add one more penalty to China:

4. No researcher with a degree from China shall produce research or hold a job at any biological, nuclear, or dangerous materials facility in the western world.


So if our countries are going to protect us we need to strike at China. Force them to pay dearly for this and not let the lives of innocent people, whose blood is on their hands, to end in vain. It's simple and you're right. Let's have our leaders do something to protect us from the Chinese Communists.

I get your frustrations, but you don't tell a country of over a billion people with the world's second biggest economy (and their own significant nuclear arsenal) to go fuck themselves and expect them to meekly accept your demands. The world's unstable enough at the moment, throwing gasoline on the fire isn't going to make any of us safer or better off at this point. The "coalition of the willing" wasn't able to win a war in a small, backward middle eastern country, I don't think China is terribly afraid of the U.S. forcing them into submission.

In the category of "malicious actions leading to the deaths of innumerable thousands" I think Winnie the Pooh, the WHO, and their merry band communist sympathizers can take 100% of the blame for this - thanks.

We can accuse western leaders of incompetence, but not a single leader outside of China is responsible for this. It could've been contained to China had China not lied and used WHO in order to deceive the PLANET on the scope and effect of this virus. Hell Taiwan was ahead of the curve and they were PURPOSEFULLY excluded from being aware of the trouble brewing a few hundred miles from them. Let's not even talk about the possibility of it being a "whoopsie" from the nearby BSL-4 laboratory in Wuhan.

Consider that by the time western nations had the ability to act people from Wuhan were already flying to Chinese hotspots like the western US, NYC, UK, India, and Australia.

China can bear 100% of blame for this virus. Lying about it is par for the course. They lie about their economics, they disappear doctors, they send ethnic minorities to death camps, steal PPE from other countries, and they disappear citizens. Hell, do we even know if China is a real country? They probably lie about that too.
