People are spending literally weeks locked in ( in Spain at least but also in other places). Lots of online videos about home training but that gets boring pretty fast ( and just difficult, I can hold the paos for the kids to kick and punch but the reverse is more problematic, also lifting is a hassle without a proper set up). Only a few services deemed essentials are open, supermarkets here actually had to close whole aisles of products deemed non essentials, like candies and clothing. Yet booze and tobacco are deemed essential and there seems plenty of it available. Government say stay home, including the kids, or you may die, many do stay home frightened, but the message about nocivity of alcohol and tobacco aren t so clear, and I m reading more testimonies of people getting fat at home than healthy. Not surprised philip Morris gets upgraded during this crisis.
We don t dring nor smoke at home and actually keep on training , although less than when the gyms were open, and definetely move less overall, especially the kids.
Not my scene so no first hand experience but on teh other hand illicit drugs use might have gone down, as it is not easy to go around and distribute them
