Coronavirus: 99% chance that COVID-19 vaccine will work, says Chinese firm

The Beijing-based biotech company is currently building a commercial plant with the objective of delivering 100 million doses.

Chinese scientists working on a COVID-19 vaccine have told Sky News they are "99%" sure it will be effective.

Sinovac, a Beijing-based biotech company, currently has its coronavirus vaccine in stage 2 trials, with more than 1,000 volunteers participating. Sky News is the first British broadcaster to visit its labs.

I think he meant it must be successful or otherwise there was a 99% chance he would lose his job.
 
Many companies had vaccines 1-2 months ago, there were tons of press releases about this, and many companies stock went up because of this. They just can't start using them until the multiple trials and approval stages.
While China will be injecting everyone as soon as the first five of the injected guys survive. "See, they're alive, it works! 99% sure!"

If you think China won't vaccinate 1000 old at risk people then on purposely infect them to speed up the testing, your wrong.
