Here we are in the middle of a "pandemic", an economic crisis that they created, tens of millions feeling the financial pinch, one might think congress would do something different. Nope, same deal. Argue for months and months, hold people hostage while blaming each other, add in billions of unnecessary bullshit, take it right to the midnight hour and then ride in to save the day once again. Part of it was in the omnibus, there was ample pork in the stimulus bill to warrant a veto.....
But when you wait for the last minute before midnight to pass your crap, using time as leverage against needful Americans - you get your crap passed. Congress uses this ploy time after time.
