There are politics involved but there is also just bureaucracy and doctorcrats involved. If some drone at the CDC or some federal health agency says that something should be reported a certain way then doctors just line up and do that. They are just looking for a box to check off on a form and then move on to their next case. Same thing they do with billing codes for patients. Just find the right box or code to bill and then my job is done.
It's the same with infection and mortality rate projections. One week they are at 100- 200k based on researchcrat and doctorcrat projections from CENTRAL PLANNING in DC. And then, voila, the next week they are suddenly down to 60,000. And Dr. Faux-ci and others explain that by saying "hey man, we just put shit into our models and give you the number that comes out because we are scientists unlike you shleppes that are trying to think about it rather than just follow the science. Nevermind that our scientific projections were wrong."

Definitely. And in regard to that large category of deaths in the Netherlands where there is no reason listed........most likely Trump is responsible for those too.
Every health reporting agency form needs to have an "ORANGE MAN BAD" option that that doctors/coroners can check off for cause of death or illness. Not only in America but other countries as well. For example, Canada, Iran, Mexico, and China would like to be able to check off "ORANGE MAN BAD" as the cause of all corona deaths.
There are some countries that are deliberately suppressing their real numbers --- and can get away with this because they are effectively authoritarian states with limited free press - China, Iran, North Korea and other countries are examples.
It is more difficult to get away with fake numbers in western democracies since the press will eventually report on the actual toll. However the numbers in western countries are still off for several reasons which include:
Until the U.S. follows the example of South Korea and Germany in terms of tracing every case, testing everyone who was near a COVID-19 patient, and carefully examining every death then we will not know the true numbers or have proper control over the pandemic. I will note that the mortality rate is also much lower in these two countries because they did proper testing, had medical facilities ready which were not overwhelmed, and took proper measures early.

As a side note about China; both the U.S. and U.K. intelligence communities issued reports stating the counts in China are under-reported. The U.S. stated by a factor of 16 to 40 minimum. The Brits stated flatly it was definitely above a factor of 40 in the death count. Other estimates from media in Japan, Hong Kong, and other SE Asia countries for deaths and cases in China have the numbers much larger at 2 million dead and 40 million cases -- but there is no solid proof backing this.

- A limited number of COVID-19 testing kits cause many people with symptoms not to be tested or counted. Leading to case under-count.
- People with mild cases just stay home and never contact officials and are not counted. Leading to case under-count.
- People afflicted with the flu, colds or other medical issues may be simply assumed to have COVID-19 due to lack of testing. Leading to case over-count.
- The number of deaths may be under-reported since people who die at home are not "post-tested" and simply not counted in the COVID-19 mortality count. One example of this is New York City. This leads to mortality under-count.
- In some places non COVID-19 deaths may simply be counted as COVID-19 since they died now and no post-testing was performed... and examiners just add this to death certificates This leads to mortality over-count.

UK confirms that only people dying in hospitals are considered as corona deaths. The big amount of people dying in elderly homes are not considered as corona deaths.
With manipulated data you can proof anything. It is just a matter of adding what fits and deleting what does not fit to get to the wanted result.

Every day I read more stuff about how these statistics are wildly manipulated or falsified or incorrectly totaled. People who die in a hospital but are merely suspected to have C19 are counted as C19 deaths, as an example. What horseshit.
Anyone who wants a test can get a test..
I don't blame Trump for lack of testing as the medical community is working on this as fast as they can and logistically it will take a month or two to get enough tests out to reopen areas, but don't fucking say anyone can get a test back on March 6th when it was not true....

The guy is and will always be his own worst enemy. The Democrats should just let him destroy himself rather than try to take him on with all these dumbass theories and accusations.
