Yes the verdict on NASID’s are out, same can be said for Chloroquine but it’s showing sign’s of being a viable treatment.
When there’s enough evidence to show concern with doctors actually in the field treating patients, do you continue to use a drug that may be harmful when there’s another that works just as well that’s potentially safer?
By all means eat your Advil.
To each his own, my concern is that there are a lot of anecdotal reports and rumors floating around Covid that can dangerous and unduly cause people fear.
People in Iran are drinking weird shit and killing themselves. We had some guy kill himself because he thought fish tank cleaner would prevent Covid. The point is social media has made it impossible to control this stuff and there are people are so afraid that they will grab on to these unscientific rumors as gospel.
We’ll figure it out and hopefully soon but in the mean time it’s important to give the doctors and scientists room to move and slow the spread. Part of that includes some degree of personal responsibility and not share this stuff as fact.
