Corona Cash Cometh

That doesn't mean anything. Just China doesn't want to take anymore of an economic hit and basically saying "eff these old people, they're gonna die anyway"

That is your worthless opinion, I was talking about what is factually happening.

Who's money was it in the first place? Tax payers, correct? You could easily argue that checks to tax payers and low interest loans to businesses is nothing more than returning some of the money that these productive people/businesses have contributed over the years. It's not the government's money. It's ours.
"You could easily argue..." You're not joking -- I know. But you really need to bump up the class of Agent Orange Kook-Aid you're drinking.

Taxpayers paying the government to loan to taxpayers is not "our money" -- it's appropriation and redistribution. And since it is flow-of-capital not steered by choice (or by *returns*), it is nearly guaranteed to be inefficient.

I know these are words you never bothered to learn about in school, but they are both *real* and entirely *unavoidable.*

Like it or not, it is socialism, and no jingos or bumper-sticker loyalty escapes that. It might be bitter medicine for some, but to not call it what it is is to invite abuse of it on a civil-society *ruining* scale. I'm not up for that.
