The truth remains that Trump put out their names as being involved and executives of these pharmacy chains stated despite their names being put forward they never heard from the Trump administration about plans to have them distribute vaccines— nor had any idea how many doses would be provided. The sole exception to this was CVS which partnered with the federal government under the Trump administration to go to nursing homes and vaccinate residents.

Alright, I have made my point and provided supporting information which you have not accepted for political reasons. So I will leave it there.
For the rest of you who are open to my point, you will find that the internet is wall to wall with articles supporting my point which is that all of the pharmacies that I listed knowingly entered into discussions and agreements with Trump, so the idea that Trump somehow used them without consulting with them is a total crock.
Just as a quick example, along with the other links I provided, who was president in December of 2020? Answer me that. Was it Trump or Biden?
So when the Chief Medical Officer of Walmart says in December of 2020 that they are preparing to receive vaccine at 5000 stores and Sam's Clubs does anyone here think that they did not have knowledge that they were to be included in the vaccine distribution???????
And those december press releases followed the agreements reached in November, just as I said.
And you can go company by company and confirm their involvement as well. Sheesh.
Enough already. Sufficient support has been provided for my point for those who are not having TDS. Do you think when it says "at stores" that that means "just in nursing homes?"

Yes... all of these pharmacy chains were preparing to distribute the vaccines. They were actively trying to engage the Federal government while Trump was still in office. Most have stated their calls were not returned and they were given no data/information on when they should expect doses of vaccine to be available. This was information they needed to know so they could even determine what type of freezers to purchase and how to staff their stores.
The pharmacy chains which provide millions of shots (for flu, etc.) in the U.S. per year knew they are one the most obvious and best locations for getting shots into arms of the COVID vaccine. So yes, they took steps to get ready, promoted they were getting ready, and worked to engage the federal government --- after all it was in their own business interests, getting feet in the door is how they make money.
CVS was the only pharmacy chain engaged by the Trump administration which was given an allocation of vaccine with dates and expressed purpose -- this was to vaccinate people in nursing homes by visiting the facilities.

Can you tell us why the Trump administration never returned calls from many of the major pharmacy companies? All the way up to January 20th failing to return calls? Thought not?
So they were involved, had signed up versus your previous assertions that Trump just floated that arrangement without their knowledge? Indeed. Just as I said and is fully documented.
Now you crabwalk off to whether there was adequate communication about delivery dates before the vaccines were even approved. And yes, probably after the election and while he was in the midst of impeachment the quality of the effort fell apart. I dont doubt that for a minute. But my assertion that the plan to distribute the vaccine to through local chain pharmacies was created and agreed upon during and as a result of Trump's efforts stands.
Similarly, Joe embarassingly found out that his great plan to do a million vaccinations a day was already Trump's plan and being met. ooops. This business of showing Joe doing something new and different is not as easy as you and Joe might like. Vaccine was developed under Trump and his vaccines are being distributed according to distribution plan agreed to under his administration. My take is you are re-writing history and reality. Keep pushing your own version of how great Trump did in the COVID response; we all know differently.
