Really, they were all listed on the government web site as having signed on in November.
I guess no one told them that they had signed on.
We had this type of discussion before when I mentioned that Trump had reached an agreement including Walgreens and CVS. You or others alleged that they knew nothing about it. Funny though how the rest of the world saw them on the stage with Trump in a joint news conference.
No doubt though that many of them know how to play the game for future contracts though and that is by playing up Biden's role. Pathetic. The reality is though that they signed on in November - period. All the ones I listed and more.
As I have pointed out before, this country does 3 million flu shots a day in peak season through the private pharmacies. Joe's goal of a million a day - that got bumped up to 1.5 million when he was challenged- is well within the existing capability when supported by adequate supply. If Joe wants to put some army people there with camouflage and combat boots to make it look new and different and dramatic, we know that that works for you. For the rest of the people, just the vaccine is needed.
Pathetic man. Just rejoice in the progress being made and stop worrying about Trump and whether Joe is getting credit or not.
While I agree that having pharmacies involved in COVID vaccinations is a good idea.. and an obvious one. The truth remains that Trump put out their names as being involved and executives of these pharmacy chains stated despite their names being put forward they never heard from the Trump administration about plans to have them distribute vaccines— nor had any idea how many doses would be provided. The sole exception to this was CVS which partnered with the federal government under the Trump administration to go to nursing homes and vaccinate residents.
