Indeed. All the other states need to run their curves out and get then under control at some point.
The scenario from hell though would have been/would be that the original states did not flatten and there was not a top in sight all while it was spreading to other states. Hopefully we have avoided that and it just a matter of having each state flatten out, albeit on different timetables.
