There were 133 fewer deaths than the 889 deaths reported on Saturday, when the numbers fell from a record high of 919 on Friday.
While the total number of confirmed cases rose to 97,689 on Sunday from a previous 92,472, it was the lowest daily rise in new cases since Wednesday.
But despite hopes by Italian officials that the downward trend would continue, it appeared increasingly likely that restrictions on all but essential activities that were due to expire on Friday would be soon officially extended.

This is potentially good news here in regard to antibody treatment via blood plasma of survivors.
Fortunately, there are patients in several locations around the country right now that are receiving this exact same treatment and we will know A LOT MORE about it within a couple weeks. So I allow myself to be optimistic about this chinese report - knowing that they are fucking liars and the government meddles in their medical reporting- because I know that we are not dependent on their findings. We have our own findings and will have more so I will look at that too.

Let's get this out there and see what this test looks like in the real world. Aside from the issue of delays in testing to date, it is turning out that previous tests have very shaky reliability. If this rapid test turns out to be not only fast but reliable too.....well...that would be MOST EXCELLENT....and of course there needs to be availability too.

Same with all the hydroxy drugs, and the four or five others being considered along with the approaches that involve infusion of antibodies from covid-recovered persons. Just get going, especially if their safety profile is already mostly known. If they don't help much, then finding that out is valuable too.
