It's a yes or no question--- either it relies on objective signals that can be automated or it does not. If you think its objective enough to be automated, then you are guaranteed to fail.

Just trying to create dialog and explain what I mean---and this book pretty much lays out what I think---- I am fairly certain you will GET IT, soon. hang in there, and dont' give up!
I'm still waiting for the mkt to eat my objective system....been waiting since the late 90's. Guess the mkt isn't hungry

Whatever you say. yeah, the market is the same now as it was in the 1990's. LMFAO!
I didn't structure my system towards an "edge" that would be eliminated. Humans are still behind all the decision making (whether manual or algorithmic) so things haven't really changed. Only volatility needs to be adjusted for. Until AI takes over, I'm not too worried about being phased out of the trading game.
