In the context of Biden and presidential races.In presidential races no president has won re election with approval ratings where Biden is now.I don't know the record for Senator approval ratings and election history.Im sure they are different as is the quality of state polls which are wrong far more often than presidential polls.

Where Biden is now is how the averages trend, where he will be at the time of election and where his approvals will depend on a lot of things including his opponent.

Also the opponent's approval rating will matter as well, Santis or Trump are in deep negative themselves.

Where Biden is now is lower than Trump.



Santis and Trump are ahead of Biden in aggregate polls.This time in 2019 Biden was ahead of Trump in aggregate polls.

therein lies the rub.....GOP has trump and ronnie as the front runners for right now which might limit other candidates making a push.... GOP woudl happily accept any alternative to trump and trump light to move the party forward and lock up WH and Congress. Riding the policies of trump and MTG are not going to get a win just like the dems reject AOC/Bernie in the general election.
