Corn Spread Order Execution

Dont bother trading z/h

It is 200k bid/offered always!

Unless you are willing to do at least 500 spreads a pop you wont ever get filled unless you hit bids or lift offers.

Dont bother trading z/h -Gee thanks!

It is 200k bid/offered always! - Oh really? Always? I have no idea what you are trying to say but... thanks again! (sounds like a good liquid market if you ask me)

Unless you are willing to do at least 500 spreads a pop you wont ever get filled unless you hit bids or lift offers. Wont ever huh? Unless.... ahh.... I'll take my chances kid

Responces are above, youngtrader.

From someone who admits to heavy drinking with aspirations that are not impressive to me I give no weight to anything you say. You have no focus, you are all over the place and with nothing of use to share. Almost all of your posts are negative with your trying to show the world how smart you are. - You might want to check yourself son. For your own good, before it's too late. You are just smart enough to be dangerous…to yourself.

PS This post may be of value to others interested in spread trading up until the "Thank You" that implied its completion.
After reading the reply from "youngtrader" it became obvious he or she knows very little and their post history speaks for itself.

--Why would I bother to do this? Because it may help "youngtrader" to reach a turning point in his/her outlook and start to profit from this game rather than squeel out rubbish to anyone who will listen, or in this case, read.

Damn... From someone who took 5 days to figure out his order wasn't marketable...

Quote from livingston777:

Question for the pros:

Is it common to wait to get into a spread for 5 days? I have had an open order now that does not get filled. . .

Here is the order in question:

Buy: 1 ch10
Sell: 1 cz9

Limit/sell: 13.75

The original was 13.50 but after 2 days of no fill I figured what the heck, I'll get in higher. I am only doing "1" to see how quick I can get in or out so please no need to comment on that part unless fills happen faster with larger lots.

The differential has been 14 for days, at least when I check so I don't see why there is no fill here.

- Note: I am not looking to "day trade" spreads here but being after 5 days with no fill it makes me wonder if I had been in and wanted to get out if that would be the case too.

-Or is it just that I am trying to get in when nobody else will take the other side? Still there is a .25 pt difference so someone should take this on.

Livingston:
Which broker are you using to trade the spread?

And just to confirm what you posted: are you entering the order as a spread or are you entering each leg separately?
