1) Rain is bearish during the growing season. That's what the expression , "rain makes grain", means.
2) Rain is bullish during harvest season because it slows down harvest and creates the possibility of crop destruction because of mold.
3) There might be a little bit of "sympathy" with price movement in gasoline for ethanol production.
