What I find funny is this. Most Americans can tell you the price of a gallon of gas. It's on the news now EVERY day!
A few can even tell you the price of a barrel of oil within a few dollars. Most will know that the price of oil has doubled in the past year though.
But ask any average American what the price of a bushel of corn is and how much it has gone up in the same time that oil has doubled.
Point is, everyone is so distracted by the price of oil and gas that I don't think they have any idea how much they are affected by the price of corn.
Ignorance is bliss.
