Job Description
Manage and support our real-time, global trading infrastructure and oversee access to multiple exchanges worldwide.
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues with trading system components (including systems, network and software) in real-time.
Deploy, analyze, and optimize production systems.
Automate maintenance and analysis of production systems.
Serve as the front-line interface to exchanges for immediate operational issues.
In terms of qualifications:
5 years directly working with Linux systems, either personally or professionally.
2 years directly administering Linux systems in a production environment.
Extensive experience with shell scripting, including regex.
Experience with network analysis across both TCP and UDP, particularly via packet captures.
Knowledge of python and/or java is a plus.
Knowledge of Linux kernel compilation is a plus.
Hours- This position will begin 2 p.m. PST and wrap up around 1 a.m.
