I kind of got the same feeling after reading some of his stuff. Good enough guy and I think it's great he took up the offer. But without a trading plan/strategy he will most likely be just throwing shit against the wall and emotions will get the best of him.
If he is trying to micro-scalp for a tick or two he is up against it as well. Computers are way too fast and reading the DOM is completely useless.

I commend him for doing it, I really do and I hope he does well, it just kind of seems like maybe he's new to futures or maybe trading actively in general. I wish others on this forum would step up and do this. It would actually be pretty cool if we could get a mini combine going for just some ET members, finally to put up or shut up.
Quote from CoolTraderDude:
The problem is that I have to make $3500 to pass the Combine.
BUT here is the difficult choice... You have to take small losses and make big wins... If I trade bigger size the losses will get bigger as well.
Holding smaller size longer is another solution... But it's unlikely that I'll be able to pull off a $850 winner with just one lot...!
Just some thoughts for now...

trading on sim is total bullshit , it proves nothing in the real world
any firm that would risk real money on someone that has passed any sim test
should get there head examined . Not smart business
