Cooltraderdude's TopstepTrader Combine (daily trade report and journal)

Actually my last post brings up a question. What products can I trade at this combine? Are equities and futures available, or only futures?

1) Try to focus on AND trade one market only. It's easier to "juggle" one ball in the air instead of many.
2) It's potentially easy to get sidetracked or derailed with the guidelines when you have too many "ducks to get in a row".

I agree. For newbies, just pick one volatile product and focus on that. At least for the first combine. Unless you already trade a lot of stuff.

Commissions topsteptrader pays seem very retail level, does TST makes money off the commissions ?

Well, you can't really pay commish on a sim can you? It's paper money.

But no, they stated earlier, once you go "live", they do not make money on the commish.

Our products?

Our as in US products. US products that trade on CME look illiquid relative to their European counterparts. But they are heavily spread so liquidity is not really an issue except maybe for the grains. But for equity, debt, energy and currencies, should not be an issue.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply I owned the licensing rights to all CME products. :)

Umm, maybe you missed, but I was responding to someone else who thought I should look at more products. I have issues with the number I am looking at currently, and was questioning their opinion. Not important for this thread, but just trying to clarify.

How many others? I currently have the EC, CL, ES, NQ, GC, ZC, and 5-8 stocks I look at daily. I think I am at the limit, and that is why I am adjusting.
i look at fewer in several timeframes, keeps me busy, awake, think your plate is full enough,i think the combine allows 2 instruments only
