Quote from whitster:
atheism and theism are BOTH leaps of faith
agnosticism is not
we are here. that much is certain. why, and if there was or wasn't a prime mover - to believe there was, or wasn't is an act of faith
to state you do not know is not
atheism is a belief system based on a leap of faith. so is theism
whitster:
Generally theists believe in the past messengers. They accept only the past incarnations. Both Jesus and Krishna told that they come again. But, no weightage is given to these words in their eyes. Infact Lord comes in every generation otherwise He becomes partial by giving His divine experience to only some people. Ofcourse even the past messengers were also not identified by the people present during that time. This is mainly because of jealousy and egoism. This is a continuous process going on and on.
If He comes in human form, it will be convincing for atheists also. Now theists say Lord is there but they cannot show.
Then how atheists believe? The fundamental problem lies in accepting the present messenger in front of our eyes. Like in the past, messengers keep coming in the present and future also, but always a handful of people only accept at the most. The knowledge required to identify Him is the divine knowledge which is to be learnt. Otherwise the same stalemate continues
