We had a huge YTD for my family/in-laws trust. We netted an arb for Aug monthly (early) and as a result:

I cannot trade my personal account as the result of OPM (not F&F), so I will post some F&F trades here, as well as some mid-marked trades that I cannot personally trade.

The marks on the above chart and not really indicative as the trade was not netted until the 12th. The actual PNL was linear to >30%.

Marked PNL (combined): gain of $2,400 per contract.

Entered a mid-duration short here (1-3 months) at SPX 1985. Mostly in vola (long vol, short gamma, DN to SPX 1955).

Lots of traders have had their best year ever, its really not a big deal. I am not questioning your returns--- totally possible. Why do you think my post was referring to your returns?
