I totally was down with that EUR/AUD call, thats why I killed it above 1800 on friday. never flipped though :mad:

Nice job. CAD... seems like the correction is coming here. Jpy... risk off just looking at the board. Haven't did much snooping around yet, need my coffee and bagel... lol.

just seen this.

"USD/CAD paid at 0.9896 highs after CFNAI data; headline OK, revision negative"

they are expecting some heavy USD corp bids on UCAD down here.

Trade light in London, but some buyers_of 3wk (ish) 80.00 strikes in Asia
Risk reversals hold steady for JPY puts at 0.5 (1mth) and 0.1 in 1yr

The euro has slid back below $1.23 as German officials shot down a report on the latest possibility to support peripheral nations facing rising bond yields. Der Spiegel said over the weekend the ECB was considering a way to cap to how high peripheral bond yields can rise above safer such a plan. But German officials once again reiterated their opposition to the ECB buying euro-zone bonds at all.

Have my eye open to get long UJ and long USD/CAD.

This is the only thing I have right now as a possibility while I wait on this euroland crap at the end of the week, into the bigger stuff next month.

I'll be watching AUD too.

you got that right, somethings going on with CAD and JPY, I don't have a clue, but something is going on when they move and something is going on when they just sit there. I'll follow the journal, maybe you will figure it out and explain it to me.

at the moment, I'm short USD/CAD from 9890

and long USD/JPY from 79.36

and I certainly don't expect both to be winners or losers

maybe something is going on with USD
