You are going about it the wrong way.

Instead of "threatening" someone to lose a bet on what you would do, just do it without the bet! Nobody would take you up on the bet anyways.

You have nothing to lose by posting your evidence, so long as you redact the necessary bits to keep yourself anonymous (if you care about that sort of thing).

Just go ahead and do it! I do, and I feel no pride about my good weeks, or shame about my bad weeks. I only feel the TRUTH,. Sometimes it hurts, and sometimes it sets me free (to feel good about myself in that I did the right thing, and people here can enjoy it with me.)

But it is the raw truth, no punches pulled. If you do the same, you will feel more at home here.

@hilmy83 is the latest user to take the real-journal plunge, and users are loving it. We see what he is doing, we give advice, we criticize, we loathe and we laud.

But that is the fun of it! It keeps us honest without having to "threaten, or goad" or whatever. And it gives you "street cred", if there is such a thing here.

Anyway, mine was not a threat at all. Actually, I was planning to devolve the bet to the Movember Foundation, an organization who is tackling men's health at all levels and trying to stop men dying too young (https://www.movember.com/). We are mostly males here and we should really take the chance to support whoever is trying to help us.
