Like poster "Jem", I see you complaining about the taxes you pay; I've seen others like you over the years complaining about paying to educate other people's children or their belief they subsidize other people's health care.
Life goes on and some of you selfish assholes will draw on something from the community and think nothing of it. In the case of Covid, there is no luxury to wait for you idiots to come around; you will be mandated to get vaccinated if that's what the community needs.

Good luck with assertions. I can assure you I pay more in U.S. taxes each year than you do.
I have issues when the government wastes taxpayer dollars. I expect the government to spend the money efficiently and appropriately.
There are real benefits to having tax dollars fund successful local schools, public amenities such as parks, public health initiatives that prevent widespread disease, and other items that benefit residents of our communities, state, and country. Note that the real estate prices in communities with good schools are much higher than in communities with bad under-funded schools -- even when these are neighboring communities (go take a look at Long Island, N.Y. for some examples).
