Continually need to relog on TWS...

I did a few tests. CPU usage peaked at 50% a few times on the 3rd screen of the "performance" window, but not when it froze, just on the preceding attempts when the charts ended up being displayed after a long load. RAM is a flat line at 1.4 Go

sounds like bummer charts then unless some IB chart users come to the rescue. I think you better not hold your breath for that :)

You have good charts already so why use IB's charts?

CTS only display 2 contracts per chart. These IB charts are really fine for what I want to do, the only problem is the freezing.

I wonder if it doesn't have to do with the 100 Tickers limit on IB too. I don't think so as 100 is the limit for simultaneous load, but I am not sure.

It seems I can load as many 5 instruments charts as I want, but when I try to load one 20 instruments chart on 5 min frame, it freezes...

Hello Guys,

I have really limited knowledge on computer hardware in general.

Recently I created some charts displaying up to 20 instruments that I watch in the morning before starting trading. The problem is it seems to use too much ressources and sometimes the charts never load. I need to relog on TWS to see the next chart...

I use a Dell Precision T5400, 2.33 Ghz, 3 Go RAM( 2008 ). I use TWS Build 922.6 on XP.

Is it related to my computer or TWS version? What can I do to solve this problem?

Thanks a lot.
Has the problem been resolved?
