It always cracks me up that otherwise intelligent people fall into this "conspiracy theory" trap..i.e. the notion that anything that falls outside of the mainstream contrived version of events is a "conspiracy theory". In reality, it's the ultimate form of thought control, an Orwellian-ism.
Case in point: if any one of the "conspiracy theorists" on this site had predicted the exact events of 2008, 2 years earlier, they would have been labelled as nutjobs since all of it would seem so outlandish and outside of the law. Even the notion of the Fed having an interest in the day to day fluctuation of equity prices was labelled as a "conspiracy" a few years back...the suppresion of precious metals prices..yep a conspiracy theory as well.
Maybe, it's time for some of you folks to take a reality check and come to terms with the fact that you really "don't get it". You have no capacity to think outside of the box or take an objective view on events, as unpleasant as they may be to your own belief systems.
