Consistent low double digit return trade alerts OR Inconsistent 100%+ return trade alerts?

I am comparing few websites that provide options trading alerts. All of them have historical performances showing on their website. Everyone is a little different. However one of them has low double digits returns, but it has been consistent.

Do I chose that one ($50 per alert with usually 2 to 3 alerts per month) that is consistent but provides low double digit returns OR the one which has inconsistent results but the profit%s are 100%+ ($100 per month)?

Im not sure how helpful will this be, but it all depends on you.
Are you the type of trader who can handle picking up small but consistent returns? or do you need to keep hitting grand slams?

I personally trade using steady gains.
