Maryland’s Republican governor has become the latest voice the speak out against Roy Moore and call on him to step aside.
In his statement today, Governor Larry Hogan also said Moore’s defenders should consider how they would react if the accused politician was a Democrat or if one of the victims was their own daughter:
More Republicans have been publicly denouncing Moore and calling on him to step down. Two Republican senators have withdrawn their endorsements of Moore.
But in public remarks today, Moore made it clear he has no intention of going anywhere and thinks this is a political hit job.
