Conservative Mind Set & Conspiracy Theories

Quote from Maverick74:

So let me get this straight here because deep down inside, I truly want to understand the pathology of the liberal mind. A parent CANNOT pick up their child from school and accompany them home on foot and a 12 year old girl can make a decision to have an abortion in which the school will NOT notify the parent. Am I understanding this correctly?

"You're the only one who has objected. Move on now or get arrested."

So want to understand the pathology of the liberal mind, funny shit there Mav.

Quote from Maverick74:

Tell me what I said that wasn't true. You're on the clock.

They are only doing it for our own good. Liberals sincerely believe that most people are way too dumb, ignorant or prejudiced to make sound decisions. It's bad enough when they make these poor decisions for themselves, but by golly liberals will not stand by and let them mess up their own children too. Isn't this really what Hillary Clinton meant when she said, "it takes a village to raise a child?" We thought she meant, everyone looks out for each other. What she really meant was the village, ie government, will take it out of your hands.

It's worth noting that the thread starter consistently lies and makes logical fallacies, all the while pretending to be reasonable and semi-objective. I'm quite certain that he's neither a successful trader nor has he made a dime in any entrepreneurial activity. Instead, he rarely misses a chance to defend big gov't and academia...who likely provide his sustenance.

Truthfully, there are just as many in the Left who believe harebrained conspiracy theories. And we shouldn't just dismiss all conspiracies prima facie. A friend of mine with a PhD in History (one of the few true intellectuals I've met with that distinction) refuses to dismiss all conspiracies because (1) there have been many, many documented conspiracies in the past (2) the media no longer ask the Who? What? Why? When? How? questions any more. Benghazi is one of many recent examples.
