I am old school and think that 14 is too young to make decisions about sex and gender preference and all that. But I read more and more about problems in states that want very, very, very minor children to be able to make gender reassignment decisions without parental consent. So, let me review this. A 14 year old child is too young to consent to sexual relations but is old enough to make an irreversible decision about mutilating their private parts or undertaking psychologically damaging identity changes. Might want to think about that a bit more but of course it is progressive so that automatically tells you what you want to do- no thinking required.

14? The left is okay with 4 year olds making decisions about gender. And lets not forget should the 14 year old get prego by her whatever age boyfriend, she's plenty old enough to make her own decision to get an abortion without any consent or counseling from a parent. So what. 18 year olds are teens. 19 year olds are teens. Age of consent in Alabama is 16, and that ain't the only place. Don't like it, change the law, something which I would be perfectly fine with. Sixteen is way too young for consent, but it is the law. And if it's too young to decide who they should be fucking, then it's damn sure too young to decide on their own to get an abortion, or decide to start identifying as some other gender.
