If you are a trader, you are always aware of trends. And the trend right now is all leaning towards Obama and slightly against Romney. Anything can happen in a close election, but the trend is clear around the nation and more importantly in the swing states.

2012 doesn't appear to be the year for Romney, but he is still young and could make another run in 2016, plus he has many sons and they could be the next US political empire.

it wasnt a nice try. he blew it through bad judgement. he should have easily won this. he got nervous during the primary because he was up against religious nutters on the right and started pandering to every extreme right position that faced him.
then he picks as vice president a guy who has voted twice to end medicare that couldnt even deliver his own state thereby scaring seniors voters.
he tried in the last few weeks to run to the center but by then his dishonest flip floping on every issue made voters not trust him. you will notice how all the romney stories these last few weeks have a theme. how dishonest romney is.
