Its not illegal to discriminate against someone over political affiliation. So now the only way you democrats will get healthcare is if you become republican, or lie that you are not a democrat(should be easy for you since thats what you do best)

It's not illegal, but it's against the most fundamental ethical tenets of the medical profession. In fact, isn't this doctor acting in direct contravention to a solemn oath he swore as a qualified physician?
It goes something like this, I think:
"I will not permit considerations of religion, nationality, race, party politics or social standing to intervene between my duty and my patient"

I consider myself blessed that you're not a doctor. I also find it interesting, scary and enlightening that people on different sides of the healthcare issue in the US actually describe their political opponents as "enemies".
Aid and tax dollars aside, do you think there's anything wrong with breaking an oath that you swore and that's supposed to be the main ethical principle of the profession you practice?
