It's unfair to hold Obama to the same standards we would measure a white president by. He has never been held to white standards his entire life, except maybe in muslim school as a young boy. So why should we expect him to be able to meet them now?

If we measure him to the standards set by other black office holders, he has actually performed very well. He hasn't been prosecuted for any crimes, yet at least. We have no indication that he has failed to file tax returns for decades. He has not been convicted of embezzlement or converting public funds to his own use, although why would he need to? He and his moron wife take expensive vacations on the taxpayers seemingly every couple of months.

Let's just see how bad it could have been. DC Mayor for Life and crack enthusiast Marion Barry was recently involved in a car crash when he drove his Jaguar the wrong way down Pennsyvania Avenue. Barry has had a long saga of unpaid taxes, and would be in prison for tax evasion if he were an ordinary white person. (There is apparently a secret section of the IRS code that absolves black democrat pols from paying taxes. See Rep. Charles Rangel,D-NY)The police discovered that his Jag had over $2800 in unpaid tickets. They are now scrambling to explain how it could have avoided being booted, like ordinary DC residents' cars would have been.

Or it could just be that you are comparing the public's view of a body of individuals who haven't accomplished much as a united front to an individual who ran on hope, change and being the "great uniter" with the most "transparent administration in history".

Why not bring up individual congressmen and their individual polls - at least then it's an apples to apples comparison.

Or it could just be that you are comparing the public's view of a body of individuals who haven't accomplished much as a united front to an individual who ran on hope, change and being the "great uniter" with the most "transparent administration in history".

Why not bring up individual congressmen and their individual polls - at least then it's an apples to apples comparison.

Maybe most Americans do not put their entire faith in the future of the country in one man. But if they do, perhaps Obama should have run on "optimism and change" instead.

We have a weak fool in charge, and he seems intent on seeing how far he can push Putin before WW III breaks out.

Obama, who won a Nobel Peace prize for not being George Bush, has managed to sow as many divisions and conflicts internationally as he has domestically. The president who was elected to heal racial divides has instead played the race card at every opportunity and throroughly disgusted much of the country. He turned the entire middle east into a war zone and has created failed states in Libya, Syria and Iraq, all more or less stable when he took office. Egypt narrowly escaped a similar fate by thumbing its nose at him and Hillary Clinton and tossing out the muslim brotherhood thugs they wanted to run the country.

Now he seems determined to turn Ukraine into another failed state. Anyone can see the game Putin is playing. He is tempting the Ukraine government to overextend itself by sending more and more of its military into eastern Ukraine, where Putin has 20,000+ elite troops just across the border. Troops that could sweep across in an instant and cut off the Ukrainian forces. What's Obama going to do then? Start WW III?
