If all your news came from press releases issued by House Republicans, you would never know that the president has ended two wars.
What two wars has he ended? Do you mean he's pulled out American troops? Because as far as I can tell, the wars are still going on. Didn't we just lose a 2 star general?
You would never know that he helped pave the way for 53 straight months of private-sector job growth.
LOL! With a record low in the labor force participation. More Americans not at work than ever before, and your 53 straight months are mostly part-time jobs, held by the crowd that use to retire at 54. Then there's record foodstamps, etc. Yes, cheer!
You would never know that the president brought the American auto industry back from the brink, despite the GOP cries of "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt."
Record recalls, a loss to the taxpayer, hmm all for the unions...that was well done!
You would never know that the deficit has been reduced by more than half.
And you would never know that he brought Osama bin Laden to justice.
Credit on that point. Of course, it pales when you look at the state of the world today - ISIS, Israel and Gaza, the Ukraine, the border, the VA, IRS, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, sheesh, I've lost count.
You wouldn't hear about any of that. In fact, if you got all your news from House Republican press releases, all you would know about the GOP's do-nothing agenda is what they are against: anything President Obama does to move America forward.
And of course, you'd hear much more if you got your news just from the liberal news outlets, where the only thing they wouldn't point out that improved (which is the only thing that actually improved) - Obama's golf score.
Of course, this blind opposition is the foundation of the Republicans' partisan lawsuit. Their complaint, in a nutshell, is that the president actually wants to govern.
Holy shit, please Mr. President. If this is how you govern, please stick to golf.
