Confessions of a newb Part II

so far 3 of the last 4 gaps have filled the same day
and the fourth filled a day later

that seems like a better ratio than all the books indicate

is 50% closing the same day closer to the norm?

I don't factor them into my trading, so I have no idea of what the answer to your question is.

But if you look up a guy named Pekelo maybe he can give you some more insight into them.

Better today
Gap closed as expected
I set a reasonable stop
covered when the gap filled

I thought the market would go lower than than 12,365 -- but the rules say - 'dont play hunches'

so a step in the right direction


I noticed from the posts on the trading thread that many people were rattled by the volatility Wednesday --- so I was not alone in that
