The conditions are full of contradictions:
- Kremlin says it insists on neutrality for Ukraine
Ukraine right now as far as everybody knows is neutral. Russia is the one who is invading Ukraine not the other way around. How neutral do you want Ukraine to be? Even if Ukraine joins NATO, NATO is not invading anybody either. It's just a defense collective so Ukraine would still be neutral.
- Russia "will finish" demilitarisation of the country
Demilitarisation of the country? The last we checked, Ukraine is an independent autonomous country and it's not allowed to have its own military? Seriously, how many independent sovereign countries in the world do we know do not have their own military? Even Switzerland, a completely neutral country has armed forces and actually a mandatory military service for all males reaching the age of majority of 18. And Ukraine is not allowed to have its own military? And besides, if Ukraine satisfies the first condition of becoming neutral, what do you care if it has military?
- Wants Kyiv to recognise breakaway regions, loss of Crimea
Well Ukraine is neutral so how can it make a stand regarding recognition of other regions? It goes directly against the first condition.
So basically Russia wants Ukraine back to be his b**** but under the pretense that it's independent basically like an abusive husband who wants the whole neighbourhood to know that his wife is an independent person but wants her to do everything that he says and does not do anything that he disapproves and does not hesitate for a moment to use violence on her if she ever disobeys. And the only thing that the whole neighbourhood does is just to take away the husband's job and stop associating or doing business with the husband whenever he beats her up. LOL
