i lived in Ottawa Canada for several years. There was near zero crime, despite a large population of homeless, handicaps in hoverrounds racing on the streets, and drug addict types everywhere---- guns are outlawed, but I don't think there is a correlation, just saying---

In all honesty, IF it were possible to sprinkle some fairy dust and make all guns disappear forever in the US, there would be a large percentage of gun advocates that would accept that outcome...IMO, that's why these frequent debates on here go absolutely nowhere because the Canadian's to the north simply don't understand the dynamic at hand down in the US...and then they constantly accuse those with CCW's as the problem without considering the self defense angle.
