Computer Freezing...video card problem?

Okay. I swapped out the suspected bad card, and replaced it's slot with the 'good' card. Running two monitors now. Will report if any problems come up. If no problems occur, I'll try the bad card on it's own to see if I can isolate for the card.

Ordered a new NVS 295 last night on ebay, just to cover the bases. Yes, it could be a power supply issue. How do I check my power supply config?

Tiki - I do have a backup computer...at a different house!! :D It's okay. This month has been vacay time, anyhow.

You can't really check any running parameters. What you can do is check the amperage on the 12V rails (should be 2 or 3 rails) and the efficiency percent, hope it's not a cheap brand.
You can use this to calculate the theoretical usage but you still have to look at the amperage of the PSU and GPU separately:
