Complete NAZ & NYSE symbol list anyone?

I'm looking for a complete list of stock symbols
for the NAZ and NYSE going back to about 1996.

The list needs to include symbols that DONT EXIST anymore.

Any idea where I can get these lists?

Books? Do they have an electronic list?

Yes please

I've already found those lists before.
However, I don't want to spend my whole day cutting
and pasting them all into a spread sheet.

Sigh.... guess ill just have to write some code to
parse the web page, pick out the symbols for each site,
and generate a clean comma delimited excel file.

Also, are you sure these lists contain symbols which
have been de-listed? That was the original point.
