Nobody talks about the price, where esignal is about 2.5x higher than Qcharts.
Right?

Esignal is a great datafeed, however I think their charts are just plain difficult on the eye.
Ensign, Tradestation and even Metastock all seem to have much cleaner bar charts.
It actually surprises me that they haven't made any attempt to improve their chart layouts given that it would be so easy to do.
Even Sierra charts, allows you to easily adjust the shape of the bars, and that program is virtually free.

Same here ... I ended up using Stockwatch pro on eSignal because it gives you both. It has a QCharts feel and is easy to use + reliable feed from eSignal. See my comments:

yes except the hotlists dont work with Esignal(well a few basic ones do) and the hotlists are one of the best features of QCharts for stock trading.

RB,
I may be mistaken, but you maybe possibly be referring to our Standard Charts? Our Advanced Charts likely have the flexibility you're looking for. Below is an example of a Daily Candlestick, with 3MA's, a few trendlines, an Advanced Get MOB S/R line, MACD, Stoch, and a Volume study w/ and Volume MA overlayed.

... Particularly the horizontal open and close bars are too fat, which makes it difficult to tell if a new bar has opened at the same price as the close of the previous bar. Compare them side by side and see for yourself.
Also, with Ensign and Sierra chart, you have the ability to colour certain bars, like inside and outside bars different colours. This can be done using tick box functionality, without having to write a script. Not everyone wants to write a script for this type of simple functionality that you should be able to do on the fly.
