Doing a google search for "oanda sipc" I came up with these two threads with identical content.

Scams probably that they scrape sites and sell ads without having to do any real work.

Sort of like wall st.

just so you know, Oanda does not have SIPC protection for customer accounts. No one does except maybe IB's universal account for trading everything.

Right, I was just trying to verify that. In addition to Oanda, I've got an account with TOS and have been with IB in the past. As of now, I'm transferring my Oanda funds to a new IB account - I lost nearly everything with Refco and don't wish to do that again.
