What is the top industry for needing debt financing?
 
Pretty much anybody who loans Joe Sixpack some money. Auto Loans, Credit Cards, Mortgages, Home Equity Loans. These places will close up shop with no coin to lend.

There are a lot of folks who make their living selling money to others.
 
money should just be free. period.

make it a public service. end the concept of 'banking'. no banks, no bailouts, major stimulus

interest is only charged punitively, in the case of default and asset seizure. creditworthiness is still rewarded.
