Companies Engage In Orgy Of Virtue Signaling

Interesting, thanks for sharing. So what made you remove TsingTao from your ignore list?

I decided some years ago to break away from the site, it was getting to be a joke on both P&R and Trading threads, it briefly got to me. When I came back, I took a new approach, settling on the reality that some posters on here are ignorant, delusional, and/or nasty in nature. I had Tsing Tao on ignore for I believe 2 years since. Can't remember why, and yes you are correct I don't aim to persuade here, just present an alternate view and occasionally jab at people who preach really bigoted stuff or really bad investment/economic ideas. I put ppl on ignore when it gets too intense, you can always read stuff without signing on if you are in a good mood.

The P&R is very cliquey and I noted when a few of us cease to post it gets stale and boring as posts from the same 8-12 guys are high fiving their own repetitive ideas. What I'm not sure of is how reflective this is on mainstream American culture, you wouldn't see a P&R board like this in Canada it would be repulsive to the majority of Canadians. Trump being elected suggests it's roughly projecting emerging American values, in a crass unmoderated fashion with far too much leeway to white power type guys. I think it needs to be challenged but question the value in doing so in this environment.

You do realize that the U.S. has invaded Mexico over 100 times with our military to chase down criminals and terrorists. Does Pancho Villa ring a bell?

Not in today's world. This would send a message to Russia and China that they don't have to respect other countries borders either. In a world of anarchy the US would get severely damaged, it's citizens would be in shock when they realized they aren't isolated and safe from others ( think 9/11 but much worse ). The US is a huge military power with a strong economic base, but still relatively small in relation to the rest of the world, and getting smaller. Time to preach peace and respect not war and aggression. Vietnam and Iraq should teach you something. The chances of the US sending military into Mexico is almost zero. That would indicate Trump, like Hitler in the late 1930s, has lost it.

LOL, if you think an MBA and working in the private sector is the easy route then i really dont know what to say...... all i can say is nothing ive ever gotten has been easy, IMO the easy route is government, guaranteed wage and pension for your whole life, come one now........

No but I think they took the way easier route than those in the hard sciences. Like coffee slurping and networking vs hard core math, stats, gruesome long hours in the lab... You get the point. And like with everything in life, the effort and hard work usually pay off and shills and great talkers over the long term get exposed.

China and Russia already do not respect borders. Their policies are that their nations can be aggressive to their regional neighbors and take territory at any time (does Crimea ring a bell). Anything the U.S. does on our side of the world would not provide any "messaging" beyond that the U.S. would mirror their existing regional policies.

BTW several years ago I stated that at some point the U.S. would send our military into Mexico again if the country to our south continues to slip into lawlessness. As the entire situation continues to decline I expect the Mexican government will beg for our intervention.

So has China been invaded tons of times. It won't happen again. Times change. And only one great world power is in rapid decline and no Trump will change that. Stupid argument of yours.

Good night.

China is now the one doing the invading.

As the situation in Mexico continues to decline the probability of U.S. intervention increases greatly irrespective of the president in office. Especially in view that intervening in Mexico is rooted in long standing U.S. policy.

Which you of course are, loooooool :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Could not resist. Good night.

You really are a moron, but a funny one.

Any time you want to make that bet instead of hiding behind your username, you just let me know.

FWIW, someone told me that nine_ender has the same problems on a Canadian curling forum...Ya know, always offended, constantly bitching and whining about whatever he perceives as "non-compliant" to his rigid set of politically correct behavior.
