Crime rates in the US are massive for a supposedly civil, mature first world country. The level of US conflict ( as further witnessed by how people talk on the P&R ) is off the charts. Trump is merely a result of how far down the rabbit hole you've gone as a country.

Remove Chicago, Philly, New York and maybe a few more cities like Detroit and our crime rates are just fine.
