wow Beyond ignorant and ethnocentric. I lived in Caen, I'm guessing you know where that is, so almost every day I am reminded of what happened. Belguim, Suisse, Ireland, have half of the Max Tax rate that we (the US) do, yet they manage to provide all of the stuff that we cant deliver yet.

So how did you vote on the corporate bailouts in 08? auto bailouts? that was socialism for the rich.

Oh what about the housing bust...who bailed out the people who couldnt pay the mortgages? nobody!, but hold on....the mortgage companies turn around and get a deal from uncle sam....that my friend is socialism.

How about apple and facebook avoiding taxes here in the states? I have no problem with them evading taxes, but who pays the taxes...lets hit mavrick74 for 40% who makes 780k trading this year,.... and also lets make him buy his own overpriced healthcare, pay his kids college tuition out of his own pocket.

I stand corrected (thanks cmb). 416,800 casualties for the US. With (from a quick glance) only Japan, Germany and China putting up bigger numbers. Who of the allies put up more bodies? I mean, it was their homes to defend. . ..
