You misread me. The US has already decided to let BTC go on precisely because they've figured out how to retain oversight of transactions, likely from both technical and legal means.
What I'm saying is those who, for political or financial reasons, want and expect BTC to evolve outside government controls will be sorely disappointed.
There are people who are brain-dead, cucks for government and will accept everything the government tells them to do without question or pushing back
When government agents make a move against them, they are unprepared and bend over and take it since they have no choice
All of their assets and financial well-being and their entire lives are dependent on the government
These people should look into the history of how the jews were cornered into submission by small but continually escalating government actions
The government says give up your guns and then covid hits, people in Aus... and Can... are all helpless at the abuses they have to endure from the government
The government says we'll print trillions of fiat currencies and make the rich even richer and the poor even poorer, and the people above accept that their hard-earned income have been devalued, i.e. Turkey, Lebanon, Peru, Argentina, etc
The whole world suffers, the citizens of the US less so
We now have Bitcoin as money we can truly own and is globally accepted store of value. Bitcoin is money and store of value that cannot be debased by any government
The US is a great place for Bitcoiners and we enjoy the benefits of Bitcoin's acceptance in the US financial system

Some people believe in democracy. You know, every so often you vote for elected representatives accountable to you, through your vote. You may not always get the person you want, but that's the jist of the electoral process.
For some, BTC promises to be that idealist place, a little bubble of protected funds out of the hands of evil government that wants to tax it or take it all.
