Will you guys implement a way to access data on any particular date by just typing in that date. Kinda like TS has it. For example, you type in 8/28/2003 or select from a drop down calendar window and it would go to that day intraday data.

I agree completely with this, especially as you build up more backdata. Even with the quick ways of scrolling, try going back 3 months on a one minute chart. Any other platform that I've used has had the ability to enter a date and get data starting from that point.

Based on your response to TonySanDiego it looks like you may hold the key to getting some major flaws fixed, or at least have some major influence. I'd like to throw one your way if I may.

For anyone using tick charts, in my case on the e-minis in the 25tick range, you can forget about indicators and prices staying in sync. As new tick bars come in, your indicators will begin to lag behind until they are so far off you have to "reload" all the indicators on your chart to get them back in sync, and you'll do this three or four times in a 5min period depending on how fast the market is moving. The implications of this problem are obvious so I won't get into specifics. You can just go through the above links to see why this or any problem that affects trading decisions has to get resolved ASAP.

I know that has been requested before, and is on the enhancement list. I don't believe it is scheduled for the next few releases though, so it will likely be awhile before this can be added.

For all those wanting this feature or for those that have other suggestions, we'd love to hear them. Please drop an email to our Product Development Team, so that they can take them into consideration for future development cycles.
 
Besides the exchange filtered problem with single letter symbols ... which I have also reported numerous times, what are the plans for providing Daily data for exchange filtered symbols? I've covered this ad nauseum in the past ... but thought I would bring it up again.

I know this is wanted by some, but we have decided not to add Regional Daily Charts to our product offering. On a positive note, in 7.5 when requesting a daily chart for a regional stock, the chart is redirected automatically to the underlying stock instead of saying No Data.

that will work for me .... but will that increase my symbol count? If I set up a linked workspace with intra-day and daily charts, and use the symbol "ADI=N", will my symbol count be 1 or 2? I hope it is only 1.
