with regard to trade ideas,i note that symbols that have been alerted can link directly in to e-signal charts but can it be linked straight into a quote box?

But, I don't think you'll have to wait 5 years ... the next 8.0 version will blow users away. We are reworking a lot of features and interfaces.

It will have a new Quote window, replacing the current quote, summary, and portofolio windows.

It will have a more powerful EFS language with macros called EFS2.

It will have an Options Package, something we have never had.

More global data and international news services.

It will have an improved look and feel.

Many of these items we have been working on for over a year as R&D projects that will all be rolled together in this big new release.

We have a 7.5 release coming this fall, mainly data enhancements, but expect 8.0 close to year end.

Chatted with one of the live support reps this morning to get a better idea of this indicator. I understand that it's only used in a quote window and puts a red F next to the ticker symbol that is currently in a fast state. My questions are more for informing myself so here goes. Can someone post a picture of a quote window up with a ticker that in a fast state? The rep didn't know if it showed up next to the ticker itself or in a column on the page. Also what goes into determining that a fast condition exist? Besides a Fed announcement, lol. Volume move, percent of price move in a specific of time, or something else or a combo of thing, etc.

Next question which I didn't think at the time to ask. Is it possible to set so when a market goes into a race condition that an alert sound goes of at the start of the condition? Would be helpful if it can.

Is there a prem symbol for Dow emini's similar to EPREM A0? A0 was an excellent, excellent addition to 7.4. I keep it on a chart full time now.

I would like to suggest a feature for next eSignal version here because some of eSignal people listen well here.

I use 60min chart for a currency pair/symbol.
The problem I found is the 'close' price is 'bid' price from Time&Sales.
Forex has no official settled price at any exchanges, so all eSignal provides is bid/ask price from their affiliated brokers/banks.
That is fine, but the problem is the chart does not show the middle of bid/ask price but bid price. Which means the entire chart is biased to the downside with spread value, and it's not nice I always see bid price only at the chart.

Please add the option to show bid/ask line in the intraday chart not only tick chart. Middle price option would be nice, too.

Can you give us an overview of what will be the global changes in 7.5? I didn't see anything about a better backtester (+optimizer) in your 8.0 description...

Why does the volume in the adv chart only update on a tick change with the ES?

Yes you can do this Runningbear. Feel free to check out the documentation for our ActiveX API; the section on Time & Sales is 4-7
